INTRODUCTION

I come from Greece where I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and International Studies. I continued my studies in the UK, in Birmingham where I received a Master's Degree in Diplomacy.

Further education includes Kim Skildum-Reid courses, Institute of Directors' governance courses, University of Waikato Contract's Law and Harvard University (Harvard Business School online) papers on 'Disruptive Strategy' and ‘Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies’.

I worked at the ATHENS 2004 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2001 looking after the National Paralympic Committees as the Deputy Manager in the International Relations Department.

I moved to New Zealand in 2004 at the end of the games. I worked at Auckland City Council as the sponsorship manager of festivals and community events, moved to Hamilton where I worked at Netball Waikato, became the executive officer for Swimming Waikato for 2 years, held contracts with my own sponsorship and marketing business (Triowins) with Beat Bowel Cancer Aotearoa, Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty, U Leisure, Habitat for Humanity, various Councils and other organisations. I worked for Hamilton City Council as the Partnership Manager for Major Projects, exceeding a target of $7.2m for the Hamilton Gardens Development Project over an eighteen-month period (including the Council's targeted rates), $1m for the River Plan and $750,000 for the Playgrounds of the Future Programme.

My most recent job before re-establishing my own business was as Director of Philanthropy for Auckland War Memorial Museum where I was responsible for 'giving and legacy' programmes and developed an innovative bequest programme 'Leave Your Mark'.

I am honoured to also include in my portfolio working with Northern Mystics, Paralympics New Zealand, Well Foundation (as part of the Waitematā District Health Board), Dunedin Public Art Gallery, Toi Ngāpuhi, Boccia New Zealand, Youthtown and All Good Ventures.

I hold New Zealand Citizenship.

I am passionate about my family, the Paralympic movement, enjoy music, cooking Greek food and travelling.

I have had governance experience with Big Hearts, Parafed Waikato, Te Waotu School Board of Trustees and as President of the Greek Community of Auckland for 5 years. In February 2020 I joined the YES Disability Resource Centre Services Trust as a Board Member and the Rotary Club of East Coast Bays as a Member, Golf Fundraising Committee Member, Youth and Family Committee Member. I am currently a Trustee for Rotary East Coast Bays Trust and a Board member for North Shore Rotary. I have also been appointed to the Zone 8 Rotary Regional Major Grants and Fundraising Committee. I am honoured to be recognised as a Paul Harris Fellow.

I am a current member of the Institute of Directors, Women on Boards and Moceanic Fundraising Group.

My greatest passion is people. I am grateful to all the teams that I worked with and the results that we achieved together. I always meet with potential partners to identify their objectives and outcomes, then tailor proposals to fit both their desires, the project's objectives and communities' interests. My approach is tailored and very personal. I believe this is the point of difference. I have developed strong relationships with funders, commercial businesses and donors over the years due to this approach.

I am excited about projects that have an impact on the community and the world.
